Compositions containing an anti-acne effective amount of five components that work combinatorially to combat the acne condition as a whole. The composition contains anti-irritant, anti-inflammatory, adhesion inhibiting, sebum reducing and sclareolide components. Inflamed and non-inflamed lesions associated with acne are reduced with a combination of the anti-irritant component, the anti- inflammatory component comprising at least hoelen mushroom extract, the adhesion inhibiting component comprising at least a polysaccharide, the sebum reducing component comprising at least a pygeum extract, and the sclareolide component. Methods of the present invention treat acne holistically. Therefore, these methods treat and prevent the irritation and inflammation frequently experienced when applying acne treatment. By applying to the skin an effective amount of the composition of the present invention the appearance of comedones is prevented. Compositions of the present invention protect against damaging effects of acne, and the appearance of comedones and pustules.
La présente invention concerne des compositions contenant une quantité efficace anti-acnéique constitué de cinq constituants qui travaillent de manière combinatoire pour combattre l'acné dans son ensemble. Ladite composition contient des constituants anti-irritants, anti-inflammatoires, inhibant l'adhésion, diminuant le sébum et sclaréolides. Des lésions enflammées et non enflammées associées à l'acné sont diminuées à l'aide d'une combinaison du constituant anti-irritant, du constituant anti-inflammatoire comprenant au moins de l'extrait de champignons de hoelen, du constituant inhibant l'adhésion comprenant au moins un polysaccharide, du constituant diminuant le sébum comprenant au moins un extrait de pygeum et du constituant sclaréolide. Les méthodes selon la présente invention permettent de traiter l'acné de manière holistique. Par conséquent, lesdites méthodes permettent de traiter et de prévenir l'irritation et l'inflammation survenant fréquemment lors de l'application d'un traitement contre l'acné. Par application sur la peau d'une quantité efficace de la composition selon la présente invention, on empêche l'apparition de comédons. Les compositions selon la présente invention protègent des effets néfastes de l'acné et de l'apparition de comédons et de pustules.
