ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The disclosure teaches a photographic camera consisting of a camera unit and a flash unit pivotably mounted on the camera unit. The camera unit includes a light-tight housing, and a lens and shutter opening for receiving light reflected from an object to be photographed and mounted on the housing. The flash unit is made up of a casing which is pivotably connected to the housing by a connecting member and a flash member for producing a flash light. The casing of the flash unit serves as a cover of lens and shutter opening.
