ABSTRACT In a multi- stago absorbtion refrigeration system which uses water as a refrigerant and a saline solution such an Lithium Bromide as an absorbent, it is well known in the prior art that varios pumps are needed to circulate the refrigerant and the absorbent solution throughout the system. This invention deals with a system of "reverse re- frigeration", or in other words a heat pump; and is not con- cerned with removing heat from a building and throwing it away into the atmosphere, but in collecting free heat from any sourse such as Solar Energy, Heat from waste water,Heat collected from refrigerated spaces and re-used, heat from waste air ejected from a building, etc.etc. The novelty of this system also rest in the fact that it is unique in requiring no pumps or compressors to circulate the refrigerant or the absorbant solution as will be seen in the following specifications. It is also claimed by the inventor that this system is unique in that it provides Heat and Cold at the same time without having to reverse the flow of the system. of the above mentioned sources of energy are collected stored in holding reservoirs of both hot and chilled water for later use as domestic hot water and for both heating in winter and cooling in summer.
