ABSTRACT A portable combined pacemaker parameter and vital sign monitor which acquires data relating to a patient's ECG wave form and pacemaker wave form by means of electrodes (20-23) and displays the derived wave forms on self contained display means (31). The monitor also stores data derived from the wave forms for subsequent recall and analysis. The monitor displays wave form information in such a way that the relationship in time between the ECG wave form and the pacemaker wave form is immediately clear to a user. The monitor is particularly useful for the portable measurement of ECG and/or pacemaker wave forms and for the ongoing analysis of the condition of a working pacemaker in vivo.
