Abstract of the Disclosure A portable desk and chair assembly in which the desk and chair are adjustably and telescopically mounted on pylons which diverge outwardly from each other so that as the desk and chair are raised to accomodate different sizes of students the desk and chair diverge away from each other. A locking device is provided so that the desk and chair may not be rotated relative to the frame of the assembly.
