A method is disclosed for monitoring a reservoir. The method includes making a first set of electromagnetic measurements at locations along the Earth's surface, making a first measurement from at least one sensor disposed proximate the reservoir in a wellbore and determining an initial Earth model from the first electromagnetic and first sensor measurements. The initial Earth model include a fluid contact. At selected times, the sensor and electromagnetic measurements are repeated and a spatial distribution of the fluid contact is determined from the repeated measurements.
La présente invention concerne un procédé (Figure 4) de surveillance d'un réservoir (12). Le procédé consiste à effectuer une première série de mesures électromagnétiques (30) à des endroits (22, 26) situés sur la surface de la Terre, à effectuer une première mesure au moyen d'au moins un premier capteur disposé à proximité du réservoir dans un puits de forage (18) et à déterminer un modèle terrestre initial (34) sur la base des premières mesures électromagnétiques et de la première mesure du ou des capteurs. Le modèle terrestre initial comprend un contact (15) avec le fluide. A des moments sélectionnés (36, 34A), les mesures du capteur et les mesures électromagnétiques sont répétées et une distribution spatiale du contact avec le fluide est déterminée (38) à partir des mesures répétées.
