A process for separating the components of a multi-component gas stream is disclosed. The multi-component gas stream (1) is contacted with a solvent (6) in an extractor (5) to produce an overhead stream (8) enriched with unabsorbed component(s) and a rich solvent bottoms stream (8) enriched with absorbed component(s). The rich solvent bottoms stream is then flashed (9) at reduced pressure to regenerate lean solvent (14) and to recover the absorbed component(s) as an overhead stream (11). The regenerated solvent is recycled to the extractor (27). A portion of the circulating solvent comprises external solvent (37) added to the system. A second portion of the circulating solvent comprises internal solvent contained in the feed gas.
L'invention porte sur un procédé de traitement des composants d'un courant gazeux multicomposant qui est mis en contact avec un solvant dans un extracteur afin de produire un courant de tête enrichi en composants non absorbés et un courant de fonds riche en solvants et enrichi en composants absorbés. Le courant de fonds riche en solvants est ensuite soumis à une détente brusque, à une pression réduite, afin de régénérer le solvant léger et de récupérer les composants absorbés sous forme d'un courant de tête. Le solvant régénéré est recyclé dans l'extracteur. Une partie du solvant en circulation comprend un solvant externe ajouté au système. Une seconde partie du solvant de circulation comprend un solvant interne contenu dans le gaz d'alimentation.
