The invention relates to a method for cold-rolling strips consisting of, inter alia, special steels and/or nonferrous metals, in a multi-stand tandem rolling mill. The first stand(s) carry out comparatively high reductions and the last stand(s) determine the surface quality of the strip, with a relatively low reduction. The aim of the invention is to improve the capacity of the tandem rolling mill in terms of thickness reduction and in terms of the surface quality of the rolled strips. To this end, an emulsion is used as a coolant and lubricant for the first passages of the strip through the tandem rolling mill with relatively high reduction. The adhesive coolant and lubricant film is then squeezed off the strip following removal from the roll gap of the last emulsion- operated stand. Rolling oil is used as a lubricant for especially the last passage(s) through the tandem rolling mill with relatively low reduction. The invention also relates to an installation for carrying out the inventive method.
L'invention concerne un procédé de laminage à froid de bandes composées, entre autres, d'aciers spéciaux et/ou de métaux non ferreux, sur un train de laminoir en tandem à plusieurs cages. La ou les premières cages effectuent des réductions comparativement élevées et la ou les dernières cages, à réduction relativement faible, déterminent la qualité superficielle de la bande. L'invention vise à améliorer le rendement du train de laminoir en tandem, en termes de réduction d'épaisseur et de qualité superficielle des bandes laminées. A cet effet, lors des premières passes d'une bande à travers le train de laminoir en tandem avec réduction relativement élevée, une émulsion est utilisée comme agent de refroidissement et de lubrification. Après la sortie de l'emprise de la dernière cage à entraînement par émulsion, la pellicule de l'agent de refroidissement et de lubrification adhérant à la bande est essorée. De l'huile de laminage est utilisée comme lubrifiant pour le ou les dernières passes à travers le train de laminoir en tandem à réduction relativement faible. La présente invention porte également sur une installation pour réaliser ce procédé.
