Circuit for combining a plurality of digital communication channels in a telecommunication system with reduced hardware requirements. The circuit allows to accumulate samples of the input communication channels in a register using an adder. The bit width of the connection lines between the register and the adder may be selected considering the bit width and number of input communication channels, such that minimal bit widths are provided.

L'invention concerne un circuit destiné à combiner une pluralité de canaux de communication numérique dans un système de télécommunication avec des besoins en matériel réduits. Ce circuit permet d'accumuler, au moyen d'un additionneur, des échantillons des canaux de communication d'entrée dans un registre. La largeur binaire des lignes de connexion entre le registre et l'additionneur peuvent être choisies en fonction de la largeur binaire et du nombre de canaux de communication d'entrée, ce qui permet d'obtenir des largeurs binaires minimales.
