The invention relates to a combustible ternary gas mixture and the use thereof as a combustible gas in a sheet-metal gas cutting operation. The inventive gas mixture contains 10 - 40 % acetylene, 10 - 50 % butane and 10 -80 % propane. According to the invention, the butane is iso-butane, n-butane or a mixture of said two compounds.

L'invention concerne un mélange gazeux ternaire combustible et son utilisation en tant que gaz combustible dans une opération d'oxycoupage de tôles. Le mélange gazeux selon l'invention contient de 10 à 40 % d'acétylène, de 10 à 50 % de butane et de 10 à 80 % de propane.
