The invention relates to a control, operating and/or programming device for a heating device, working by vaporisation of combustible liquid (1,2), the inlet flow of said liquid being regulated by a float bowl (6), provided with a controlled distribution body, said body comprising a thermostat, characterised in that said device comprises means (3,4,5) which permit a user, remote from the device, to measure the ambient temperature in the location and control and/or programme the device.
