La présente invention porte sur une chambre de diffusion (30) de moteur à turbine à gaz définie entre un carter externe (32) et un carter interne (34) dudit moteur, alimentée en air par un conduit annulaire de diffusion (36) amont, comprenant une chambre de combustion (10) de type convergent, ménageant un canal annulaire externe (28) avec le carter externe (32) et un canal annulaire interne avec le carter interne (34), elle est caractérisée par le fait qu'elle comporte un carénage obturant partiellement le canal annulaire externe. Plus particulièrement le carénage est disposé du côté du fond de la chambre de combustion.
