Combustion device for solid fuel in particular granular material. The device comprises a fuel dosing device (12) with one in a cylinder formed house (19) rotatable dosing chamber (18). The dosing chamber is so formed that during rotation it successively supplies fuel through the dosing device (12) in such a way that its intake port (10) and the outlet port (17) of the dosing means cannot at any occasion communicate. The dosing device (12) is axially connected to a fuel conveyor (14), which supplies fuel to a combustion chamber (15). The dosing chamber (18) and the fuel conveyor (14) have a power transmission connection and are arranged to be run by a common driving device (27). The invention also concerns the combustion chamber of the combustion device. The fuel conveyor is arranged essentially axially in relation to the longitudinal direction of the combustion chamber. On the inner wall (43b) of the combustion chamber is arranged in level with and in the extension of the centre axis (42) of the fuel conveyor at least one guide rail (43) which directs an air stream diagonally against the opposite inner wall of the combustion chamber. The invention also concerns a method for combustion of solid fuel.

Ce dispositif de combustion d'un combustible solide, notamment d'une matière granulaire, comprend un élément doseur de combustible (12) doté d'une chambre de dosage (18) rotative, située dans un logement en forme de cylindre (19). Cette chambre de dosage est conçue de façon que, lors de sa rotation, elle fournisse en continu du combustible à l'élément doseur (12) de manière que l'orifice d'admission (10) et l'orifice de sortie (17) de cet élément doseur ne puissent à aucun moment communiquer. L'élément doseur (12) est relié axialement à un organe de transport de combustible (14), lequel fournit du combustible à une chambre de combustion (15). La chambre de dosage (18) et le dispositif de transport (14) sont reliés à une transmission de puissance et sont disposés pour être entraînés par un dispositif correspondant commun (27). L'invention concerne également la chambre de combustion du dispositif de combustion. L'organe de transport est conçu de façon essentiellement axiale par rapport au sens longitudinal de la chambre de combustion. Sur la paroi intérieure (43b) de cette chambre, on a disposé au moins un rail de guidage à niveau avec l'axe médian (42) de l'organe de transport, et dans le prolongement de cet axe médian, lequel rail dirige un flux d'air en diagonale contre la paroi intérieure opposée de la chambre de combustion. L'invention concerne encore un procédé de combustion de combustible solide.
