- 18 - 7651-002 ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A combustion system is provided having a combustion chamber with an intake and an outlet. A vaporizer is located at the intake of the combustion chamber for introducing a mixture of a conventional fuel and water heated to at least about 1472°F (800°C) into the combustion chamber. The fuel and heated water combust in the combustion chamber to produce heat and other by- products which exit through the outlet of the combustion chamber, thereby reducing consumption of the conventional fuel up to 30 per cent or more to produce a given amount of heat.
