Combustor Liner Construction Abstract This invention relates to an improved Finwall combustor liner that includes fabricating the liner in axially spaced panels of Finwall material and introducing the cooling air in each of said panels at discrete locations intermediate the ends thereof so as to achieve a parallel and counter flow for attaining substantially reduced axial and radial temperature gradient over the panels, with an overall temperature reduction of the entire liner.
