ABSTRACT: A device for an automatic record player in which the pick-up arm movements during the changing cycle are controlled by a command disc in which grooves are formed for a sensor pin which is connected to the pick-up arm, one of several substantially concentric slots being the pin-catching slot for a specific record size, and the pin being directed into the desired pin-catching slot by a mechanical catching means, whilst during the rotation of the command disc during a changing cycle the pin which is made resilient perpendicular to the sensing surface, in a manner known per se, engages with a bottom groove of a slot which directs said pin substantially in the direction of the disc centre, and the pin jumps out of the groove when the inward movement is mechanically stopped and engages with the pin-catching slot for the relevant record size or for the stop function, for which purpose the inward movement is stopped by a blocking member, which blocks the path of the pin.
