ABREGE STRUCTURE D'UN ENSEMBLE D'AUTOMATES COMMUNICANTS. Les automates (A1,...,A4) de cet ensemble (E) communiquent entre eux et avec l'environnement extérieur à l'ensemble, selon un mode de communication asynchrone uniquement (2'). Chaque automate (A1,...,A4) est une combinaison de sous-automates (S17...,S18), chaque sous-automate comportant au plus une interface (I1,...,I7) externe à un automate. Tous les sous-automates d'un même automate communiquent entre eux par un seul mode de communication dit pseudo-synchrone (3') selon lequel les évènements constituant une communication sont synchrones vis-à-vis de l'extérieur des sous-automates en communication, et sont asynchrones vis-à-vis de l'intérieur de ces sous-automates. Chaque sous-automate (S1,...,S16) est une combinaison d'automates élémentaires (B1,..,B41) appelés briquas, toutes les briquas d'un même sous-automate communicant entre elles par un mode de communication synchrone unlquemsnt (1').
