A communication apparatus includes a first storage block for storing information detected by a caller information detection block, a caller identification block for determing a calling position of a caller according to the information stored in the first storage block, a second storage block for storing the information on the calling position determined by the caller identification block, a third storage block for storing predetermined information, and a control block for performing control to display on a display block information obtained by adding the calling position information stored in the second storage and the predetermined information stored in the third storage block. Moreover, the communication apparatus also includes a control block used when there are a plurality of voice data sets corresponding to the caller information detected by the caller information detection block, for reading the voice data set selected by a voice data selection block and outputting a voice signal to a voice conversion block. Moreover, a telephone apparatus includes a voice creation block for creating two types of voice data sets from the caller information, i.e., a voice data set in a predetermined frequency band and a voice data set below the frequency band, and a voice conversion block for outputting the voice data sets.
