A relaying method comprising the steps of: storing two kinds of mail addresses, one for reception and one for relaying; enabling the relaying function only when the mail address of the received e-mail data is the one for relaying; deleting a password name from the mail addresses of the received e-mails that were permitted to be relayed; using as pan of the header information the mail address from which the password name was deleted; and sending the header information along with the data to a destination terminal.
