A communication plug for terminating a cable carrying a plurality of conductors. The communication plug includes a strain relief housing for receiving the cable and a jack interface housing for communication with a jack. Confined within the two housing components are a plurality of conductive members carried by a blade carrier. In a preferred embodiment, the jack interface housing segregates the conductive members in a substantially circular array largely conforming to the arrangement of the conductors in a round cable.

La présente invention a pour objet une fiche utilisée comme terminaison de câble de communication constitué d'une pluralité de conducteurs. La fiche en question comporte un boîtier de soulagement de contrainte destiné à recevoir le câble, ainsi qu'un boîtier d'interface pour jacks à ressort. Une pluralité de composants conducteurs sont confinés à l'intérieur et disposés sur un support à lames. Dans une version préférée de l'invention, le boîtier d'interface impose aux conducteurs une disposition prédéterminée sous forme de configuration essentiellement circulaire correspondant à la disposition des conducteurs à l'intérieur d'un câble rond.
