The present invention relates to a communication station including a power supply unit, a core unit connectable to said power supply unit and constituted by a mechanically rigid assembly of all other electrical units of said communication station except for the power supply unit, and a shell unit which houses said core unit and comprises no electrical units of said communication station. Front and back housings of the shell unit can be exchanged easily, since no electrical connections are necessary to the core unit during the exchange. Thus, differently shaped communication stations can be easily achieved from a variety of differently shaped housings.

L'invention concerne un poste de communication (MT; Fig. 1; Fig. 2, 3, 4) comprenant une unité d'alimentation d'énergie (6, 6', 6''), une unité centrale (1) pouvant être connectée à l'unité d'alimentation (6, 6', 6'') et constituée d'un ensemble mécaniquement rigide (9-14, 15-1, 15-2, 16-20) de toutes les autres unités électriques de ce poste, en dehors de l'unité d'alimentation, ainsi qu'un boîtier (2-3) logeant l'unité centrale (1) et ne comprenant aucune unité électrique du poste. Les coques avant et arrière du boîtier peuvent se changer facilement, étant donné qu'il ne faut pas les raccorder électriquement avec l'unité centrale, pendant ce changement. Ainsi, on peut facilement obtenir des postes de communication de diverses formes, à partir de plusieurs boîtiers de formes différentes.
