A distribution box (100) for supporting a plurality of distribution jacks (110), each distribution jack having a first terminal (111) and a second terminal (112), the distribution box (100) being configured to permit a plurality of cables to be selectively interconnected with the plurality of distribution jacks, the distribution box (100) includes a housing defining a hollow interior, said housing having a wall adapted to support said plurality of such distribution jacks (110) such that the first terminal (111) of each distribution jack is positioned in the hollow interior and the second terminal (112) of each distribution jack (110) is accessible from the exterior of the housing, and the housing having an opening configured to allow said cables to be routed into said hollow interior for interconnection to the first terminals (111) of said distribution jacks; and a removable shield mountable over said opening and being adapted to seal around the cables disposed in said opening.
L'invention concerne une boite de dérivation destinée à prendre en charge une pluralité de jacks de dérivation, chaque jack de dérivation ayant une première borne et une seconde borne, la boite de dérivation étant configurée pour permettre d'interconnecter sélectivement une pluralité de câbles avec la pluralité de jacks de dérivation, la boite de dérivation comprend un logement définissant un intérieur creux, ledit logement présentant une paroi adaptée pour prendre en charge ladite pluralité de jacks de dérivation de telle manière que la première borne de chaque jack de dérivation est positionnée dans l'intérieur creux et la seconde borne de chaque jack de dérivation est accessible depuis l'extérieur du logement, le logement présentant une ouverture configurée pour permettre de faire passer lesdits câbles à l'intérieur dudit intérieur creux pour l'interconnexion aux premières bornes desdits jacks de dérivation; ainsi qu'un blindage amovible pouvant être monté sur ladite ouverture et étant adapté pour former un joint autour des câbles disposés dans ladite ouverture.
