The invention relates to an arrangement for audio and/or video and/or data communication between a ground station and an aircraft, having at least one communications channel, wherein a monitoring device is additionally provided on board the aircraft and has the following features: a) at least one audio and/or video and/or flight data recording apparatus, b) the recording apparatus can be activated either from on board the aircraft or by remote control from the ground station, c) the recording apparatus can be deactivated exclusively by remote control from the ground station and/or from on board the aircraft when it is on the ground, d) a memory for the data from the recording apparatus, e) a transmission apparatus for transmitting data from the recording apparatus and/or data read from the memory to the ground station, f) the transmission apparatus uses at least one communications channel in the arrangement for audio and/or video and/or data communication between the ground station and the aircraft. The invention allows remote monitoring of the interior of an aircraft and utilizes communications infra- structures (VHF radio links) provided for data transmission.

De plus, un appareil de surveillance répondant aux critères suivants est installé à bord de l'aéronef : a) l'appareil de surveillance est doté d'au moins un appareil d'enregistrement de données audio, vidéo ou de vol; b) l'appareil d'enregistrement peut être activé à partir de l'aéronef ou à distance à partir d'une station au sol; c)l'appareil d'enregistrement ne peut être désactivé que par commande à distance à partir d'une station au sol ou à partir de l'aéronef lorsque celui-ci est au sol; d) l'appareil d'enregistrement comporte une mémoire pour conserver les données; e) l'appareil de surveillance est doté d'un appareil de transmission pour transmettre les données de l'appareil d'enregistrement ou des données stockées dans la mémoire à la station au sol; f) l'appareil de transmission utilise au moins un canal de communication pour la communication audio, vidéo ou de données entre la station au sol et l'aéronef. L'invention permet la surveillance à distance de l'intérieur d'un aéronef et utilise des infrastructures de communication (liaisons radio VHF) pour la transmission de données.
