A method of sorting a received information message in which a source of delivery of the message is indicated by a unique identifier accompanying the message, for example, in an e-mail or voice message system. The method includes steps of receiving the message, looking-up the identifier in a database, assigning a code for the message per the result of the step of looking-up, and prioritizing or forwarding the message according to the code.

L'invention concerne un procédé permettant de trier un message d'information reçu, dans lequel la source d'émission du message est indiquée par un identificateur unique accompagnant le message, par exemple, dans le cadre d'un système de messagerie vocale ou électronique. Ledit procédé consiste à recevoir le message, à rechercher l'identificateur dans une base de données, à affecter un code au message en fonction du résultat de l'opération de recherche, et à utiliser ce code pour affecter le message d'une priorité ou à pour le transmettre.
