An apparatus (10) and method for covering a landfill includes a deployer suspended below the bucket (12) of a loader (14). A roll of film (18) is disposed on the deployer and uncoiled to deploy a film covering on the landfill surface (20) as the loader (14) is driven across the surface (20). The bucket (12) with ballast material is manipulated to dispose ballast material on the deployed film (18) to hold the film (18) in place. In a preferred embodiment, the deployer includes a mandrel mounted between two flanges for supporting a roll of film (14). The deployer is preferably attached to the bucket (12) by chains (16) or wire rope in such a manner so as to allow full operation of the bucket (12) while the deployer is attached.
Cette invention concerne un dispositif (10) et une méthode de couverture pour décharge sanitaire faisant intervenir un dévideur suspendu sous le godet (12) d'une chargeuse (14). Un rouleau (18) disposé sur le dévideur permet de déposer un film sur la surface (20) de la décharge au fur et à mesure que la chargeuse (14) avance sur la surface (20). Le godet (12) avec matériau de lestage s'utilise pour déposer ce matériau sur le film (18) déployé et le maintenir en place. Selon un mode de réalisation préféré, le dévideur comporte un mandrin monté entre deux flasques qui supporte un rouleau de film (14). Ce dévideur est de préférence fixé au godet (12) par des chaînes (16) ou par une câble de telle manière que le godet (12) puisse être exploité sur toute sa plage de fonctionnement avec le dévideur en place.
