COMPACT CLOTHES HANGER SUPPORT BRACKET FOR TRAVEL TRAILERS AND MOTOR HOMES Abstract of The Disclosure A clothes hanger support bracket for a vehicle comprising a vertical plate mounted on a vertical or horizontal beam such as a wall stud or ceiling joist. Holes for fastening screws are located along the back or top edge or in a flange along the top or back edge. A plurality of elongated slots are formed through the plate behind the front edge and extend along a line inclined downwardly and backwardly at an angle of 15 to 30° from the vertical. Further, each slot is formed with a closed or continuous perimeter, that is, without a top or side opening. The elongated shape of the slots facilitates inserting and removing clothes hanger hooks, and the angled configuration and continuous, closed perimeters of the slots securely retain clothes hanger hooks when the vehicle is in motion. Alternatively, the clothes hanger support bracket may be used in small home closets where space is at a premium.
