Compact continuous casting line for thin slabs, the continuous casting line comprising at least a curved segment and a subsequent straight segment, the casting line comprising at least an ingot mould (12) connected at the outlet with an extraction and possible soft reduction assembly (13) associated at the end with at least a drawing assembly (14) consisting of pinch rolls (15), the drawing assembly (14) being followed by at least a shearing assembly (16), an extractor device (17) to extract the dummy bar and by a possible temperature-restoration furnace (21, 121), there also being included at least a descaling device (20) using water, the descaling device (20) being arranged upstream of the shearing assembly (16), and the temperature-restoration furnace (21, 121) being arranged in a position near the outlet of the shearing assembly (16).

Installation compacte de coulée en continu de lingots minces. L'installation comprend au moins un segment courbé suivi d'un segment droit, au moins une lingotière (12) raccordée au point de sortie et un assemblage d'extraction et possiblement de réduction de lingots doux (13) associé à l'extrémité de la chaîne de production et au moins un assemblage d'étirage (14) comprenant des rouleaux pinceurs (15); l'assemblage d'étirage (14) est suivi par au moins un assemblage de cisaillement (16), un dispositif d'extraction (17) pour retirer la fausse barre et possiblement par un four de restauration de la température (2,121); on trouve également un dispositif de décalimage (20) utilisant de l'eau à cette fin. Ce dernier dispositif (20) est placé en amont de l'assemblage de cisaillement (16) et le four de restauration de la température (21,121) est placé près du point de sortie de l'assemblage de cisaillement.
