ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The compact disk player comprises a body proper, a disk tray being capable of supporting a disk and moving between a first position, which is outside of the body proper and at which the disk is set or removed, and a second position, which is inside of the body proper and at which data recorded are read from the disk, a pick-up unit for reading data recorded from the disk, and means for moving the pick-up unit with respect to the disk supported by the disk tray, wherein the pick-up unit is provided in the disk tray. In the compact disk player of the present invention, the pick-up unit can be easily change the pick-up unit in a short time.
