The present invention is directed towards a lighting assembly having a light source, at least one optic, and at least one light input surface formed as part of the optic for receiving substantially all the light produced from the light source The present invention also includes at least one light output surface which is formed as part of the optic such that light received into the optic by the light input surface is directed by the optic out of the light output surface, thereby producing a desired beam pattern.
