ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An improved modular water heater assembly is dis- closed which features a base tank member adapted to receive a water heater assembly, and to have assembled thereupon supplemental tanks. In the preferred embo- diment, the supplemental tanks are disposed above the base tanks, for a convenient and compact installation. The invention is disclosed in a variety of capacities of up to more than 2,500 gallons storage capacity, the subassemblies of which are still small enough to fit through standard doorways.
