A sprinkler head for a fire extinguishing system comprises a sprinkler body having an orifice, the orifice having an inlet and an outlet. A slidable deflector support assembly is at least partially positioned within the central orifice. The deflector support assembly includes an annular ring and at least one attachment arm depending from the annular ring and attached to the deflector. A deflector is carried by the deflector support assembly and positioned in proximity to the outlet. A trigger assembly is carried by the sprinkler body. A sealing member is positioned within the orifice. A sealing assembly is carried by the sprinkler body. The sealing assembly configured to urge the sealing member into sealing engagement with the inlet of the orifice.
