A compact fluorescent luminaire mountable on a vertical surface is provided, the luminaire including a housing, an aperture formed at an underside of the housing, a lamp disposed within the aperture and oriented to emit light through the aperture to the vertical surface, wherein the lamp comprises first and second tube elements arranged adjacent to one another, the first tube element being proximate to the vertical surface, the second tube element being distal from the vertical surface, a shield element disposed within the aperture adjacent to the lamp and extending longitudinally therewith, where the shield element is configured to intercept first light rays emitted by the first tube element, intercept second light rays emitted by the second tube element, and allow passage of third light rays emitted from the first and second tube elements incident on the vertical surface.
L'invention concerne un luminaire fluorescent compact pouvant être monté sur une surface verticale, ledit luminaire comprenant une enveloppe, une ouverture ménagée à la partie inférieure de l'enveloppe, une lampe disposée dans l'ouverture et orientée de manière à émettre une lumière à travers l'ouverture, vers la surface verticale. L'invention est caractérisée en ce que la lampe comprend un premier et un second éléments tubulaires adjacents entre eux, le premier élément tubulaire est à proximité de la surface verticale, le second élément tubulaire est distal de ladite surface verticale, un élément écran est disposé dans l'ouverture adjacente à la lampe et s'étend longitudinalement à celle-ci, en ce que l'élément écran est configuré de manière à intercepter les premiers rayons lumineux émis par le premier élément tubulaire, à intercepter les seconds rayons lumineux émis par le second élément tubulaire, et à permettre le passage de troisièmes rayons lumineux émis par le premier et le second éléments tubulaires, incidents sur la surface verticale.
