A compensation circuit is disclosed for compensating bias levels of an operational circuit in response to variations in a supply voltage. The compensation mechanism identifies variations in the supply voltage by comparing the voltage of a selected node of the operation circuit with a relatively constant or fixed reference voltage. Based on the results of the comparison, the compensation mechanism adjusts selected bias levels in the operational circuit, preferably using current stealing circuitry, so that the functionality and performance of the operatinonal circuit can be substantially maintained. A biasing circuit for biasing one or more differential pairs is also disclosed.
L'invention pore sur un circuit de compensation des niveaux de polarisation d'un circuit opérationnel en réaction aux variations de la tension d'alimentation. Le mécanisme de compensation repère les variations de la tension d'alimentation en comparant la tension du noeud sélectionné du circuit opérationnel à une tension de référence relativement constant ou fixe. A partir des résultats de cette comparaison, le mécanisme de compensation ajuste les niveaux de polarisation sélectionnés dans le circuit opérationnel, de préférence à l'aide du circuit préleveur de courant de sorte que le circuit opérationnel conserve sa fonctionnalité et sa performance. Un circuit de polarisation destiné à polariser une ou plusieurs paires différentielles est également décrit.
