Abstract of the Disclosure Variations in the frequency response of an oscillator or an amplifier that includes a tuned circuit caused by changes in the internal input and/or output capacitances of the active device of the amplifier of oscillator due to temperature varia- tions or, in the case of an amplifier, changes in the level of an AGC signal applied thereto, are compensated for by applying the AGC signal, or a DC signal that varies with temperature, to a DC signal controlled variable capacitance network connec- ted in circuit with the amplifier or oscillator in such a way as to compensate for the internal capacitance change.
