The invention relates to complexes consisting of nucleic acid and polyethylene imine (PEI) in which the PEI is modified by means of hydrophilic polymers, such as polyethylene glycol, linked to the PEI by a covalent bond, and to a method for producing said complexes. A cellular ligand such as transferring is possibly bound to the PEI. The complexes can be used for producing pharmaceutical compounds for the transfer of therapeutically active genes in mammalian cells.

L'invention concerne des complexes d'acide nucléique et de polyéthylène-imine dans lesquels la polyéthylène-imine est modifiée par un polymère hydrophile, comme le polyéthylèneglycol, qui y est fixé par liaison covalente. Un ligand cellulaire, comme la transferrine, est également fixé à la polyéthylène-imine. L'invention concerne en outre le procédé de production de ces complexes qui peuvent servir à la production de compositions pharmaceutiques pour le transfert de gènes à action thérapeutique dans des cellules de mammifères.
