A method is provided of propagating hepatic cells including hepatic progenitors ex vivo on or in hyaluronans with or without other extracellular matrix components (such as collagens, basal adhesion molecules, proteoglycans or their glycosaminoglycans) and with or without hormones and/or growth factors. Compositions comprising the matrix are also disclosed. Also, the complex can be used for ex vivo tissue engineering or can be used as a scaffold for grafts of cells to be transplanted in vivo.

L'invention concerne la propagation de cellules hépatiques comprenant des progéniteurs hépatiques ex vivo sur et dans des hyaluronanes avec ou sans autres composants de matrice extracellulaire (tels que des collagènes, des molécules d'adhérence de base, des protéoglycanes ou leurs glycoaminoglycanes) et avec ou sans hormones et/ou facteurs de croissance. Des compositions comprenant la matrice sont également décrites. De plus, le complexe peut être utilisé pour une ingénierie tissulaire ex vivo ou peut être utilisé comme support pour des greffes de cellules à transplanter in vivo.
