The invention relates to a component used for the drilling and for the exploitation of hydrocarbon wells, said component having a substantially tubular shape with a first end (200; 100) connectable to a second end (100; 200) of another component also used for the drilling and for the exploitation of hydrocarbon wells, the first end (200; 100) including an end portion (210; 110) having a first abutment surface (211, 201; 111, 101) capable of interaction by clamping with a corresponding abutment surface (101, 111; 201, 211) of the second end (100; 200) and provided with a sealing surface (212; 102) capable of interaction by clamping with a corresponding sealing surface (102; 212) of the second end (100; 200), said end portion (210; 110) being preceded by a threaded area (220; 120) that can be screwed into a corresponding threaded area (120; 220) of the second end (100; 200), characterised in that a compressible space (214a, 214b) is provided in the body of the first end portion (210; 110) and partially under the sealing surface (212; 102) so as to reduce the radial stiffness of said end portion by at least 20% while maintaining at least 60% of the axial stiffness.
L'invention a pour objet un composant utilisé pour le forage et l'exploitation des puits d'hydrocarbures, de forme sensiblement tubulaire, doté d'une première extrémité (200; 100) apte à être raccordée à une seconde extrémité (100; 200) d'un autre composant également utilisé pour le forage et l'exploitation des puits d'hydrocarbures, la première extrémité (200; 100) comportant une portion terminale (210; 110) dotée d'une première surface de butée (211, 201; 111, 101) apte à coopérer en serrage avec une surface de butée (101, 111; 201, 211) correspondante de la seconde extrémité (100; 200) et étant dotée d'une surface d'étanchéité (212; 102) apte à coopérer en serrage avec une surface d'étanchéité (102; 212) correspondante de la seconde extrémité (100; 200), ladite portion terminale (210; 110) étant précédée d'une zone filetée (220; 120) apte à être vissée dans une zone filetée (120; 220) correspondante de la seconde extrémité (100; 200), caractérisé en ce qu'un volume compressible (214a, 214b) est ménagé dans l'épaisseur de la première portion terminale (210; 110) et en partie sous la surface d'étanchéité (212; 102), de manière à diminuer la raideur radiale de ladite portion terminale d'au moins 20%, tout en conservant au moins 60% de la raideur axiale.
