The invention relates to a component group suitable for producing support elements, comprising two end pieces (3, 4) and at least one intermediate piece (1 or 2) which can be fitted together with said end pieces. The joints between the end pieces and intermediate piece are configured in such a way that the end pieces (3. 4), which each have on one side only at least one rib (6) and at least one groove (5), are interchangeable.
