" In a sports goal frame for defining the goal area and supporting the goal mesh which retains a ball or puck in the goal area. In this invention the goal frame consists of fabricated components which interlock to form a complete and rigid sports goal frame. The sport goal frame has a mesh tie down made of strapping fastened to the appropriate portion of each section of the goal frame. The mesh tie down allows the goal mesh to be securely fastened to sports goal frame and eliminates the practice of attaching the mesh directly to the sports goal. The sport goal frame has a movable sports goal target system which consist of a frame, mesh tie down, mesh pocket, tension cord and clips, which may be suspended inside the sports goal frame in a multitude of locations in the plane of the goal. The sports goal target system provides an unobstructed positive image of the target, being suspended in front of the goal mesh and between the front goal-posts.
