Disclosed are catalyst components for the polymerization of olefins comprising magnesium halide in active form, and, supported thereon, a titanium halide or titanium halogen alcoholate and an electron-donor compound selected from the diamines of formula (see fig. I) wherein the radicals R1 to R10 are the same or different and are hydrogen or C1-C18 hydrocarbon radicals, with the proviso that at least one of the R7 and R8 radicals and at least one of the R9 and R10 radicals are not hydrogen. Also, disclosed are catalysts obtained from said catalyst components and an Al-alkyl compound, as well as catalysts obtained by reaction of an Al-alkyl compound and a diamine of formula (I) with a solid catalyst component comprising a titanium halide or a titanium halogen alcoholate, and an electron-donor compound having particular characteristics of extractability with Al-triethyl, supported on magnesium halide in active form.

La divulgation concerne des constituants catalytiques pour la polymérisation d'oléfines, à support d'halogénure de magnésium sous forme active, portant un halogénure de titane ou un haloalcoolate de titane et un composé donneur d'électron, choisi parmi des diamines de formule (voir fig. I), où les radicaux R1 à R10 sont identiques ou différents, à savoir de l'hydrogène ou des radicaux hydrocarbonés C1-C18, à la condition qu'au moins l'un des radicaux R7 ou R8 et qu'au moins l'un des radicaux R9 ou R10 ne soient pas de l'hydrogène. La divulgation concerne également des catalyseurs obtenus à partir desdits constituants catalytiques et d'un composé Al-alkyle, ainsi que des catalyseurs obtenus par réaction d'un composé Al-alkyle et d'une diamine de formule (I) avec un constituant catalytique solide comprenant un halogénure de titane ou un haloalcoolate de titane et un composé donneur d'électron, à caractéristiques particulières d'extractibilité avec du Al-triéthyle, sur support d'halogénure de magnésium sous forme active.
