ABSTRACT Components of catalysts for the polymerization of olefins comprising the product of the reaction between: (a) a complex between a halogenated vanadium compound and an electron-donor compound having general formula: VX3?nED; (b) a non-halogenated reducing compound capable of reacting with the electron-donor compound present in the complex; (c) a halogenated compound selected from a saturated or unsaturated, aromatic or aliphatic, halogenated hydrocarbon and an ester of a halogenated unsaturated aliphatic acid.
