An apparatus and method is provided to reduce interference resulting from activation of explosive devices. One type of interference is charge-to-charge interference, and another type of interference is pre-shock interference between a detonating cord and an explosive, such as a shaped charge. To reduce interference, one or more shock impeding elements are placed proximal one or more explosives to impede propagation of shock caused by detonation of the explosives. The shock impeding elements include a porous material, such as a porous liquid or solid. In another arrangement, a shock burner may be positioned between a detonating cord and an explosive to reduce pre-shock interference. In yet another feature, an encapsulant may be provided around one or more shaped charges to enhance structural support for the shaped charges.
L'invention concerne un appareil, et un procédé afférent, de réduction d'une interférence provoquée par l'activation d'explosifs. L'interférence de charge à charge constitue un type d'interférence et l'interférence préalable à un choc entre un cordeau détonant de mineur et un explosif tel qu'une charge creuse constitue un autre type d'interférence. Pour réduire l'interférence, on place des éléments antichocs à proximité d'un ou de plusieurs explosifs, afin d'empêcher la propagation d'une onde de choc provoquée par la détonation des explosifs. Les éléments antichocs comprennent une matière poreuse tel qu'un liquide ou un solide poreux. Dans un autre mode de réalisation, on peut placer un amortisseur de chocs entre un cordeau détonant de mineur et un explosif pour réduire l'interférence préalable au choc. Dans un autre mode de réalisation encore, on peut entourer une ou plusieurs charges creuses d'un agent d'enrobage pour augmenter le support de structure des charges creuses.
