The invention concerns a composite beam (18) comprising a web (20) with sinusoidal cross-section and a lower base plate (22). The web (20) consists of a stack of at least a central mat of unidirectional carbon fibres oriented in the direction of the beam height, and aramid fibre and carbon fibre fabrics. In its lower part, the beam (18) is designed to initiate break-off, if an aircraft incorporating the beam crashes. Therefor, the lower base plate (22) is bonded on the sides of the web (20), the lower edge of each of the unidirectional carbon fibre mats is located recessed relative to the corresponding edges of the fabrics and said lower edge has saw-toothed cut-outs.
Une poutre composite (18) comprend une âme (20) de section sinusoïdale et une semelle inférieure (22). L'âme (20) est constituée par un empilement d'au moins une nappe centrale de fibres de carbone unidirectionnelles orientées dans le sens de la hauteur de la poutre, et de tissus de fibres aramides et de fibres de carbone. Dans sa partie basse, la poutre (18) est prévue pour initier sa rupture, en cas de crash d'un aéronef intégrant la poutre. A cet effet, la semelle inférieure (22) est collée sur les côtés de l'âme (20), le bord inférieur de chacune des nappes de fibres de carbone unidirectionnelles est situé en retrait par rapport aux bords correspondant des tissus et ce bord inférieur présente des découpes en dents de scie.
