A composite building material comprising a core material and, formed on the plane of at least one side thereof, a composite layer comprising a fiber substrate and a resin, characterized in that the core material comprises an inorganic noncrystalline substance and the inorganic noncrystalline substance comprises a fibrous substance. The composite building material has excellent strength and can be driven with a nail or the like without occurrence of cracking.

L'invention se rapporte à un matériau de construction composite comportant un matériau noyau et une couche composite formée sur la face plane d'un des côtés au moins du matériau noyau et comportant un substrat en fibres et une résine. Ce matériau de construction se caractérise en ce que le matériau noyau comprend une substance non cristalline inorganique contenant une substance fibreuse. Ledit matériau de construction inorganique possède une excellente résistance et il est possible d'ynfoncer un clou ou analogue sans faire apparaître de fissures.
