An electrochemical sensor structure (30) includes a housing (32) having an inner surface defining a housing cavity (42). The sensor (30) also has an inner body (34) having an outer surface (51). The outer surface (51) of the inner body (34) and the inner surface of the housing (32) have engaging portions which directly engage one another to form a channel therebetween. The channel defines an ionic junction in the sensor (30).

Le capteur (30) comporte également un corps interne (34) ayant une face externe (51). La face externe (51) de ce corps interne (34) et la face interne du boîtier (32) comportent des secteurs de contact assurant un contact direct de l'un par rapport à l'autre pour définir entre ceux-ci un canal. Ce canal définit lui-même une jonction ionique dans le capteur (30).
