Disclosed is a composite article comprising at least two subcomponents which are firmly joined to one another. One of the subcomponents is made of vulcanized fluororubber and the other is a molding of a thermoplastic or fiber composite material having a thermoplastic matrix. The thermoplastic is a polyamide, a polyamide molding composition or a polyamide blend, wherein the thermoplastic comprises at least 30% by weight of polyamide and in the polyamide at least 30% of the terminal groups are an amino group. Also disclosed is a process for producing the composite article by vulcanizing a fluororubber compound under vulcanization conditions in contact with the molding. The bond between the vulcanized rubber and the molding is firm.
Divulgation d'un article composite comprenant au moins deux composants fermement liés l'un à l'autre. Un des composants est en caoutchouc fluoré vulcanisé et l'autre est un moulage de thermoplastique ou un matériau composite en fibres ayant une matrice en thermoplastique. Le thermoplastique est un polyamide, une composition de polyamide à mouler ou un mélange de polyamides, dans lequel le thermoplastique comprend environ 30 % en poids de polyamide et au moins 30 % des groupements terminaux du polyamide sont des groupements aminos. On divulgue aussi un procédé pour produire l'article composite par vulcanisation d'un composé en caoutchouc fluoré alors qu'il est en contact avec le moulage. La liaison entre le caoutchouc vulcanisé et le moulage est forte.
