A composite concrete with a low cement and fibre content having good mechanical properties as well as good impact, shock and projectile resistance properties. The concrete includes a) 70-85 wt.% of particles (A) having a particle size distribution of around 0.01/3 mm to 0.01/50 mm; b) 2-10 wt.% of particles (B) having a size of 0.01-1 mu m, i.e. from 10<-5> to 10<-3> mm; c) 3-20 wt.% of hydraulic binder; d) 0.1-3 wt.% of a dispersing or plasticising agent; (e) 0.05-8.5 wt.% of fibres; and (f) mixing water, said percentages being weight percentages based on the sum of the weights of components a) to d).

L'invention concerne un béton composite à basse teneur en ciment et en fibres ayant de bonnes propriétés mécaniques, et possédant également de bonnes propriétés de protection contre les impacts, les chocs ou les projectiles et se distinguant en ce qu'il comprend: a) de 70 à 85 % de particules (A) ayant une répartition granulométrique pouvant aller de 0,01/3 mm à 0,01/50 mm, b) de 2 à 10 % de particules (B) présentant une granulométrie comprise entre 0,01 et 1 µm, soit entre 10- 5 et 10-3 mm, c) de 3 à 20 % de liant hydraulique, d) de 0,1 à 3% d'un dispersant ou d'un fluidifiant, e) de 0,05 à 8,5 % de fibres, f) de l'eau de gâchage, les pourcentages étant tous des pourcentages en poids rapportés à la somme des poids des constituants a) à d).
