C-I-L 626 Abstract Composite Electrodes for Diaphragmless Electrolytic Cells for the Production of Chlorates and Hypochlorites I A composite electrode made up of a metal anode plate sandwiched between two perforated metal cathode plates separated by a thin film of an insulating material such as ceramics, silicone rubber, plastic polymeric materials, etc. With this composite electrode, a K value of 0.100 to 0.150 can be easily achieved in the electrolytic production of chlorates and hypochlorites.
