A composite insulator-producing compression mold device is formed of a pair of molding units each having a recess for the formation of a housing of a composite insulator. At least one partition plate is fitted to one of the molding units near the composite insulator housing-forming recess and at a location radially outwardly from said recess. An urging member is provided for urging the partition plate toward the other molding unit such that an outer end portion of the partition plate may project toward the other molding unit from a parting face of the one molding unit when the molding units are opened, whereas when the molding units are closed, the partition plate may be received within the one molding unit. The partition plate is prevented from being detached from the one molding unit. As a pair of the molding units are to be closed, the outer end portion of the partition plate is brought into contact with a mold-parting face of the other molding unit by the urging means and thereby insulating material fed into said recess for the formation of the housing is prevented from flowing radially outwardly through between the parting faces.
Cette invention concerne un moule à compression pour la production d'un isolateur composite formé d'une paire de coquilles ayant chacun un évidement servant à former le coprs de l'isolateur. Au moins une plaque de séparation est fixée à l'une des coquilles à proximité de l'évidement susmentionné et à sa périphérie extérieure. Un ressort est prévu pour pousser la plaque de séparation vers l'autre coquille de façon qu'une extrémité extérieure de cette plaque puisse se prolonger vers l'autre coquille à partir d'une face de joint lorsque les deux coquilles sont séparées alors que, lorsque les coquilles sont fermées, cette plaque soit logée dans la première coquille. Cette plaque ne peut se détacher de la coquille dont elle fait partie. Lorsque les deux coquilles sont refermées l'une sur l'autre, l'extrémité extérieure de la plaque de séparation est poussée contre la face de joint de l'autre coquille par le ressort, ce qui empêche le matériau isolant injectée entre les deux coquilles de fuir radialement entre les faces de joint des deux coquilles.
