The invention relates to a composite material for the production of a dental prosthesis, having a matrix made of a thermoplastic synthetic material (A), comprising reinforcement fibers (B) and at least one filler (C). The filler (C) has a Mohs' hardness that is no greater than the Mohs' hardness of the reinforcement fibers (B).

L'invention concerne un matériau composite servant à la production d'une prothèse dentaire, comprenant une matrice en une matière thermoplastique (A) renfermant des fibres de renforcement (B) et au moins une charge (C), caractérisé en ce que la charge (C) présente une dureté Mohs qui est, au maximum, aussi élevée que la dureté Mohs desdites fibres de renforcement (B).
